RASH OF THEFTS REPORTED IN CROSSVILLE

The Crossville Police Department is investigating a rash of theft incidents in the past six days. According to reports, officers responded to Cumberland Fellowship Church September 13 where several items taken from an unlocked vehicle. Total loss was set at over $300. Yesterday (September 18, 2017), police responded to five theft incidents. A Crossville VF Mall store employee left a purse behind the counter and ATM card and two credit cards were taken by an unknown individual. Numerous purchases were later made using the cards and total loss was set at $3,000. Authorities went to an area off of Industrial Boulevard where a 17-foot trailer valued at $1,000 was stolen. A mower valued at $100 was taken from a Obed Street residence, several items with a total value of over $3,100 were taken from a vehicle parked at Stone Memorial High School and a pressure washer was reported taken valued at $1,400 from a Yvonne Avenue home.
