the year .
Aug. 31, 2022, could be Roane County Executive Ron Woody’s last day in
office. That’s when his current four-year term ends, and he recently
announced that he doesn’t plan to seek another one.
Prior to becoming county executive in 2010, Woody worked as a county
government consultant for the University of Tennessee County Technical
Assistance Service. He said he might go back to doing some consulting
when he leaves his post at the end of August.
