This is a great event that highlights the talents of the five Roane County High School Bands. In addition to featuring the Roane County Bands, the three Roane County Rotary Clubs use the event to collect food for the Roane County Food Banks and to raise money to help support the high school bands in Roane County. The entrance cost for the Band Festival is at least one canned food item or a cash donation to the Food Banks. During the event, Rotarians from the three Rotary clubs will be “passing the hat” to collect money that will be distributed to support the band programs at all five Roane County high schools.

The three Roane County Rotary Clubs organized the Roane County Band Festival as a way of celebrating the achievements of the Roane County band students, as well as a way of helping Roane County families. Please help get the word out so they can ensure a large attendance at this year’s Band Festival. The more that attend means more food collected for the Food Banks, as well as more money collected to support the band programs.
