Several area schools appear on the latest Tennessee AP high school football poll. In Class 6A, Maryville is ranked number one. In Class 5A, Oak Ridge is fourth. In Class 4A, Anderson County is ranked second and Stone Memorial was one vote shy of breaking into the top 10. In Class 3A, Alcoa is first and York Institute is tenth. In Class 2A, Meigs County continues their hold on number one and in Class 1A, Coalfield is ninth.
