SIX INJURED IN TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON OLD JAMESTOWN HWY. IN CUMBERLAND CO.

A two vehicle accident in Cumberland County just outside of the Crossville city limits Friday afternoon resulted in two adults and four children injured. The report released this afternoon says a 2005 Buick driver by 22-year-old Krisann R. Garmer of Smithville was traveling north on Old Jamestown Highway when her vehicle slid in a curve near Woodlawn Road and went head on into an oncoming 2008 Dodge Journey driven by 50-year-old James E. Barnes of Sparta. Garmer and two children in her car, both age one, as well as Barnes, and a 3-year-old and 54-year-old Rhonda Barnes in his vehicle,  were all taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained.
