STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED IN CROSSVILLE, TWO ARRESTED
Two men are facing charges in Cumberland County after a stolen vehicle report. Crossville police observed a while 2007 Chevrolet Duramax on Peavine Road yesterday (Sunday, May 7, 2017) and the vehicle stopped at Volunteer Gas Station. As officers attempted to place the passenger of the vehicle, 21-year-old Travis Michael Wilson of Knoxville, into custody, Wilson allegedly put something in his own mouth. After being taken to the ground, Wilson allegedly spit out a cellophane wrapper with a orange substance in it believed to be suboxone. The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Robert Ray Spagnolo, was also placed into custody. Both were charged with vehicle theft. Wilson was additionally charged with possesion of a schedule III drug. Both were transported to the Cumberland County jail.
