A recent study places Tennessee near the bottom of the list of the least-educated states. The research was conducted by WalletHub, which ranked Tennessee in 43^rd place of adults aged 25 and older who received a high school diploma. West Virginia ranked 50^th on the list at being the least-educated state while Massachusetts snagged the top spot for those having at least completed high school.
