TBI CANCELS AMBER ALERT FOR MORGAN COUNTY INFANT WHO IS FOUND SAFE

There were some tense moments in East Tennessee Wednesday evening after an Amber Alert fired off involving an infant. The baby was discovered later in safe condition. The statewide alert was issued by Morgan County Authorities after 3-month-old Russell Roysden was taken by his non-custodial father Jerry Alan Roysdon. The baby was last seen at his home around 10 AM Wednesday morning when his was taken by the 56-year-old subject. Roysden has an extensive and violent criminal history. The TBI cancelled the alert Wednesday night after the child was recovered safely in Morgan County.  However Jerry Roysden was is currently not in custody. A Kidnapping warrant has been issued for the suspect. No further information was released.
