Jennifer Flynn with TDOT told 105.7 News this morning construction is progressing well on the Peavine Road widening project. Motorists should be alert for shifts in traffic patterns to allow for construction activities. Motorists should reduce speeds on Peavine Road and be alert for construction personnel and equipment entering and exiting the roadway. The project is approximately 5.7 miles in length and its limits go from Peavine Firetower Road to Fairfield Glade. Rogers Group, Inc. is the contractor on the $50-million project, and is on schedule to meet its November 30, 2020 completion date.
