Yesterday afternoon, officers stopped a vehicle on South Roane Street that had just been reported to Roane County 911 as having been involved in a possible burglary to a home in Harriman. During the stop, a male and female individual were detained and questioned. While investigating this incident, Harriman officers located approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia that led them to believe the two suspects were involved in the sale and or delivery of the drug. Both were arrested and are currently being held in the Roane County Jail. Their names were not released in the press release issued by the Harriman Police Department.
