A trial date was set in Cumberland County Criminal Court this week for a Crossville man charged with child sex crimes. Officers say 35-year-old Steven Andrew Marchuk is facing charges of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual battery and unlawful photographing in violation of privacy. According to indictments, Marchuk reportedly was in possession of less than 50 images that depicted minors engaged in sexual activity. Marchuk also allegedly had sexual contact with a 14-year-old victim back in 2013 and took pictures of the victim without consent. Marchuk’s trial is set to start January 9, 2018.
