VEHICLE PURSUIT RESULTS IN GRIMME AND GODSEY IN CUSTODY

A recent vehicle pursuit in Cumberland County landed two in jail. Officers spotted a wanted person in a vehicle on the 10,000 block of Highway 70 East. Deputies attempted to pull over 35-year-old Joseph Michael Grimme of Crab Orchard and he led them to near Davenport Crossing. Deputies state a passenger, 43-year-old Toby Joe Lee Godsey of Crossville, exited the vehicle and fled on foot. He was later arrested in a wooded area near Coal Hollow Tip Road. Godsey was charged with evading arrest and served two warrants. Grimme was arrested for evading arrest.
