WHITE COUNTY LAWYER SUSPEND FOR TWO YEARS BY TN SUPREME COURT
A White County lawyer, John Edward Hutson, was officially suspended from practicing law for a conflict of interest. The suspension comes from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee and will last for 2 years.
According to the TN Supreme Court, Hutson provided financial assistance to his client, entered into a business transaction with his client to obtain services for repayment of the funds provided to the client, and made overtures and requests for a personal relationship with his client during the representation that materially limited is representation of the client and was prejudicial to the administration of justice.
