100 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA CONFISCATED IN MARION COUNTY
100 pounds of high-grade marijuana was confiscated in a traffic stop in Marion County. A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper stopped a motor home after noticing suspicious activity. After receiving permission to search the vehicle, a K-9 officer hit on several duffel bags and boxes which were housed in the bedroom area. It was eventually revealed that the boxes contained 83 vacuum-sealed bags of pot weighing a total of 100 pounds. The vehicle was seized and the driver was arrested. According to reports, the suspect was transporting the pot from Colorado to Florida.
