Three Cumberland County school buses were involved in accidents this afternoon (Friday, October 27, 2017) just about at the same time. Cumberland County firefighters and medical first responders went to the scene of an accident between bus 315 and bus 1205 on Highway 127 North, one mile north of Interstate 40, just after 3 this afternoon. Students were reportedly on board both buses at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported and traffic was backed up for a while as the scene was cleared. The second accident involved bus 5312 on Hilltop Drive. There the bus reportedly struck a mail box with students on board. No injuries were reported.
