Crossville police responded to the 600 block of Interstate Drive late last night for a single vehicle accident with possible injuries. Officers encountered 46-year-old Kristi Moore Kizer of Union City behind the wheel of a BMW who supposedly asked officers where her car was. She presumably with a slurred voice told medical personnel to leave and was belligerent to them. Then Kizer reportedly activated the in-car emergency notification system to request medical attention with paramedics standing near her. Officers asked Kizer to step out of the vehicle several times without compliance. Kizer then by all accounts put her hand in the face of one officer. She was taken to the Cumberland County jail charged with DUI.
