ADDITIONAL DETAILS RELEASED ON HARRIMAN WRECK WITH CARJACKING

More information has been released concerning a wreck in Harriman Tuesday which also involved a carjacking. According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, 26-year-old Joshua J. Redford of Oak Ridge was traveling east on Old Harriman Rd. in a 2004 Pontiac Grand AM, when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled onto it’s top. According to THP, Redford then exited the wrecked car and fled the scene, leaving passengers Randall Rhodey from Clinton and David Russo from Oak Ridge. All three men were injured in the wreck, with Rhodey and Russo being transported to the hospital. Redford was also injured, but according to information later obtained, he carjacked a motorist driving a truck at gunpoint. The victim later told police that Redford left the vehicle at Scandlyn Hollow Rd. He was later taken into custody at the Oak Ridge Food City.
