ADULTS AND CHILDREN INVOLVED IN ROCKWOOD WRECK ON GATEWAY AVENUE

Five people, including a child and two twin children, were involved in a serious accident in Rockwood early Thursday morning. According to reports, around 4 AM, a vehicle heading south on Gateway Ave. left it’s lane of travel, crossed both northbound lanes and struck a sign at the Exxon Station on Rockwood St. Both the driver, 30-year-old Mathew Haga and his 23-year-old wife Shannon , both from Rockwood, were taken by ambulance to UT Medical Center. One infant, age unknown was taken to Roane medical Center while the two twins, ages-2-years-old, were transported to UT. It was unknown as to any of the victim’s conditions at the time of the report.
