In a decision from the aldermen of the City of Livingston, Tennessee, new billboards are now banned inside the city limits. The recommendation came from the Municipal Planning Commission to the aldermen. The commission looked at the contents of signage and off-premises signs inside the City of Livingston as well as the proposed banning of billboards. No other comments about the ban was made since the city has a pending lawsuit from a company that sought permission to construct a billboard and was denied several times.
