At their next regular meeting in October, residents of Overton County will see two new county commissioners. Former county commissioner Shaun Hale was appointed to serve in the 3rd district and Lee Richards was selected by the commission for the 5th district. Hale and Richards will take the places of Bruce Ledford who moved out-of-state and Jordan Danner, who resigned. Ledford and Danner submitted letters of resignation that went into effect last month.
