BLOODY INCIDENT HAS OFFICERS TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER WHAT HAPPENED
A bloody incident that took place Sunday in Cumberland County has investigators trying to determine exactly what happened. Officers found a 32-year-old male at a home near the 4000 block of Highway 70 North with lacerations on his hand with heavy bleeding. Initially, the victim claimed he was ran over by a vehicle. But a female questioned at the scene told officers she was in an argument with the victim but left in a vehicle and did not run over anything. One deputy noticed a machete with blood on it and a blood trial leading from the weapon to the steps of the residence. The man was treated for his injuries.
