CROSSVILLE FIRE CREWS RESPOND TO SECOND RESTAURANT BLAZE IN 7 HOURS
Crossville firefighters responded to a second restaurant fire within seven hours today. Crews were called to Dairy Queen on Main Street around noon for a grease fire. The blaze was put out as emergency crews arrived. Assistant Fire Chief Chris South told 105.7 News the cause was a malfunctioning fryer. The business reopened this afternoon. Crews had earlier responded to Cracker Barrel around 5 this morning for a vent fire that was quickly put out. No injuries were reported in either incident.
