The City of Crossville is taking applications for the job of chief of police. Earlier this year Mark Rosser stepped into the interim position after Rodney Shoap, who was actually another interim police chief, resigned when his contract was not renewed or made permanent. According to the listing on the city’s website, the position comes with a starting salary of just over $57,000 annually and is negotiable. Applications will be taken through Dec. 7.
