FORMER CROSSVILLE POLICE CHIEF FILES CHARGES WITH THE EEOC

The former Crossville police chief has filed complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Rodney Shoap told 1057 News in an exclusive interview that he has filed four complaints with the federal agency and has also hired a Nashville attorney to further the complaints made against the City of Crossville, the city manager and one city council member. Shoap could not list the charges since the matter is in the hands of the EEOC, but he did state that he has filed four separate charges of discrimination and that he intends to pursue a lawsuit which pursues three charges not included in the discrimination investigation. Shoap has also applied for the position of Crossville City Manager.
