From the Roane County Road Dept: Beginning Thursday, Oct. 20^th, the following roads will be closed in the Midway Community of Roane County. Buckner Rd. and Laurel Bluff Rd. will be closed for approximately six weeks. Two bridges will be upgraded during this time. The upgrades are made possible by the State of Tennessee. Road Superintendent Dennis Ferguson apologizes for the inconvenience, but the upgrades will ensure the safety and longevity of county roads.
