GEORGIA MAN ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO SWALLOW METH AND MARIJUANA HIDDEN IN COLOSTOMY BAG

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia said a man tried to swallow bags of suspected meth and marijuana during his arrest. Ronnie D. Moore III is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute and misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Deputies said Moore was pulled over and deputies learned the vehicle was uninsured. The Coffee County Drug Unit was called in when deputies smelled marijuana inside the SUV. A K9 officer confirmed the presence of marijuana. Moore became irate when deputies were searching the vehicle, deputies said. That’s when a bag of marijuana and a bag of suspected methamphetamine fell from Moore’s colostomy bag and the suspect tried to swallow them whole, deputies said. Officers were able to intervene and confiscate the drugs.

Moore was booked into Coffee County Jail.
