One of American Airlines’ regional carriers serving Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport experienced what’s begin called a “glitch” that resulted in the cancellation of several flights last night and today. PSA Airlines scrubbed all its Thursday-night flights from the Charlotte airport due to a technical issue, according to a tweet from American Airlines last night. As of 12:20 p.m. Central time today, at least six departures from Knoxville had been cancelled, along with at least three arrivals from Charlotte – including the 12:15 p.m. (EDT) flight.
