On Thursday last week, a 2014 Mazda sedan driven by Michael Shipp Masters was traveling south on State Route 299, otherwise known as Westel Road.

At the same time, Roger B. Hensley’s 2018 Ford F-250 pickup was traveling north on that same road. Masters attempted to turn left into the Exxon parking lot and was struck by Hensley’s F-250 in a head-on collision.

Masters would not sustain injuries during this, but Hensley would.

It is currently unknown what the severity of Hensley’s injuries were, but no charges were filed on either side.
