A Corbin, Kentucky, doctor is facing a false-imprisonment charge in Florida after police responded to a woman yelling from a hotel balcony. Ocala police responded to reports of a woman yelling from a balcony at the Holiday Inn at 3600 SW 38th Avenue last Friday. Officers said they found a 25-year-old woman who had been severely beaten with blood on her face. She was transported to a hospital. Investigators said two suspects tied her to a chair in the hotel room and beat her. She said 65-year-old Morris Will Beebe of London, Kentucky, was in the room as well but did nothing to help, according to investigators. Beebe was arrested along with two others. Beebe is a gastroenterologist with Baptist Health Corbin. A spokesperson for Baptist Health said Beebe has been suspended pending further investigation.
