SUSPECTS IN KENTUCKY MURDER CASE APPEAR IN COURT

Four people charged in connection to a Laurel County, Kentucky, woman’s murder appeared in court yesterday. Joseph McFadden, Christie McFadden, Cody Hinkle and Michael Hinkle all entered pleas of not guilty. Police say Sherry Rose was reported missing June 12. Officers arrested Rose’s daughter, Christie McFadden, and son-in-law, Joseph McFadden, early Tuesday morning. Joseph is charged with murder and Christie is charged with complicity to murder. Authorities say Christie and Joseph McFadden admitted during their arrest they were fighting with Rose when she was stabbed to death at her home off Thoroughbred Trail. Michael and Cody Hinkle, were arrested in connection with the disposal of Rose’s body. They are charged with tampering with physical evidence and disposal of a body.
