A Cumberland County man was jailed recently after officers say he was found intoxicated lying partially in the Clifty River. Once deputies woke up 27-year-old Deven Michael Wieland, he reportedly became combative. Wieland later lost his balance and fell on the rocks resulting in a cut to his chin. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
