A Cumberland County man has been indicted by a grand jury for a sex crime involving a minor. Court officials say 38-year-old William Eblen Daugherty of Crossville is charged with aggravated statutory rape. According to the indictment, Daugherty allegedly had sexual relations with a minor under the age of 18 in July of this year. Daugherty was processed into the Cumberland County jail and placed under a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Cumberland County court October 3, 2017.
