The Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted late this afternoon for the executive committee to meet within two weeks to establish objectives to use in a re-evaluation of Chamber President Brad Allamong. Some members were confused when the matter was reached on the agenda listed as “voiding/replacing the president’s evaluation.” The previous evaluation will stand and a new one will be done within 90 days.

Allamong told 105.7 News last month the previous evaluation had a maximum of 200 points, and he scored 104. The evaluation was in two parts. Part one is a summary of standard duties of a chamber president, on which he scored a 64.7. Part two is a list of goals achieved for the year, number of visits to industries and other areas, on which Allamong scored 39.4. Allamong has been president and CEO of the Crossville/Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce for five years.
