ONE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGE AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

Two people are facing drug charged following a traffic stop in Crossville yesterday (Sunday, September 24, 2017). Officers stopped at 1995 Honda Civic in a parking lot at the corner of Northside Drive and North Main Street after 34-year-old Natoshia Desha Jordan was reportedly driving erratic. A consent search allegedly revealed a glass pipe with burn markings on it. A check of a passenger in the vehicle, 31-year-old Rebecca Dawn Barnes of Monterey, revealed outstanding warrants in Overton County. A further search allegedly produced a box containing heroin, meth and pills. Both Jordan and Barnes were taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County jail.
