ONE INJURED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON INTERSTATE 40

A vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County last night (Wednesday, August 30, 2017) resulted in one being injured. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2016 Jeep Latitude driven by 56-year-old Darrin Robinson of Fort Myers, Florida was traveling east at the 334 mile marker in heavy rain when he lost control, left the roadway and hit some trees. Robinson was transported to Roane Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained. Troopers say he was restrained at the time of the accident.
