The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that took place last night (Wednesday, May 17, 2017) that took the life of an Anderson County man. Troopers say a 1991 Dodge Dakota driven by 41-year-old Kenneth Roberts of Heiskell was southbound on Marlow Road near the intersection of Dutch Valley Road when he lost control while rounding a curve. The truck veered right and ran off the roadway, striking a tree stump and coming to rest. Roberts, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died in the crash. Along with the highway patrol, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, Anderson County EMS and Rescue Squad, as well as crews from the Marlow Volunteer Fire Department all responded to the scene.
