REPORT RELEASED ON PEDESTRIAN VS. VEHICLE INCIDENT

Crossville Police have released the report on a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident which occurred last Wednesday. Officers were called to 1027 Livingston Road, the Palmer Cabinet business for the report of a man, 56-year-old Harold Treece, being struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, 30-year-old Joshua Tuttle told police that his car was not running well, so he decided to pull into the parking lot. He reportedly told officers that the sun was in his eyes and he failed to see Treece who was walking through the lot. Treece was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Tuttle was cited for driving on a suspended license and for no insurance.
