SMOKING HEATING UNIT CA– USES EXCITEMENT AT CROSSVILLE CITY HALL
There was some excitement at Crossville’s City Hall Friday morning. Shortly before 9 AM, a fire alarm sounded at the facility and 911 dispatched firefighters to the scene. City Fire Chief Mike Turner told 1057 News that a heating unit on the building’s roof locked up and began to smoke. He said that employees were evacuated, and that there were no flames. Light smoke was cleared from the building and business went on as usual.
