SPAGHETTI DINNER & AUCTION FOR LUNG-TRANSPLANT CANDIDATE
Come enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner and auction at the Cookeville Community Center (240 Carlen Avenue) on Saturday, April 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for Becky Brown, who is in critical need of a double-lung transplant.
In 2014, Becky was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. This diagnosis came as a shock, as she had no family of history of lung disease. Doctors say a double-lung transplant is crucial to Becky’s survival.
Before she may be placed on a transplant waiting list, the transplant center is requiring her to raise a minimum of $6,000. Because she will have to relocate 100 miles from home for at least three months after her transplant, her total goal is $25,000.
For more information, contact Amanda Dauwalter at 931-303-4641. Or email her at [email protected].
Please join us and/or make a donation to help our fundraising efforts on Becky’s behalf.
