It was an active day with many thunderstorms across the plateau and East Tennessee. We had several reports of some downed trees in Bledsoe and Southern Cumberland County and then extending East through Rhea County. We have more showers and thunderstorms likely for Friday and Saturday and some of those could once again be severe with strong wind and small hail. A 50% chance of showers on Sunday and then they are likely again for Monday and Tuesday. Some parts of East Tennessee could have 2 to 4 inches of rainfall total by Tuesday
