You’ve heard of vehicles hitting pedestrians but Tuesday a pedestrian hit a vehicle in Cumberland County. According to reports, a 47-year-old male subject who was not identified was in route to Cumberland Medical Center by family members in order to have his mental state evaluated when he allegedly leaped from the vehicle that he was in and struck a van which had stopped at Lantana Rd. and Foxfire. EMS personnel attended the subject, who was then taken to CMC to be assessed for non-life threatening injuries. No further information was released on the incident.
