I have a great-looking forecast for you. Mostly sunny days and mostly clear nights are going to take us through Tuesday. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid-80s with comfortable nights in the low 60s. The humidity will be lower the next couple of days with a Northwest Breeze. Rain chances begin to pick up near the end of the week and next weekend to at least 50%. The storms that moved across the plateau late Saturday night were very heavy in some places. One rain gauge between Cookeville and Sparta recorded 2 and 1/2 inches with over an inch recorded in some places in Western and Northern Cumberland County and some amounts even higher through Overton, Fentress and Pickett counties.
