Two people are facing charges following an incident in Crossville. According to the arrest report, officers responded to McDonalds on North Main Street last Friday (August 11, 2017) where an intoxicated man came into the restaurant then left and got into a 2000 Nissan Sentra driven by 25-year-old Stephanie Marie Hill of Crossville. According to a witness statement, Hill attempted to run over an employee while leaving the premises but that would later be unfounded because of a lack of sufficient evidence. Police intercepted Hill at Ruby Tuesday’s where she allegedly failed a sobriety test. Hill was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. The passenger in Hill’s vehicle, 33-year-old Adam Russell Lawson of Crossville, was charged with public intoxication.
