WARMER FOR THE WEEKEND

I am expecting patchy ground fog to develop after midnight with the low temperature near 65 degrees. The weekend will bring partly sunny skies and temperatures in the low to mid 80s and about a 30% chance of an afternoon thundershower. Rain chances may go down a little bit more early in the week and temperatures go up into the mid-to-upper 80s. Rain is likely around the end of the week Thursday and Friday. The perseid meteor shower is this weekend so be watching during the late night and early morning hours and you may see some streaking across the sky. Late in the evening while you are watching for meteors you can also observe the planets that are currently visible, Venus in the West and Jupiter to the Southwest with Saturn and Mars to the south and Southeast. Sunrise is 5:55 a.m. With sunset at 7:36 p.m. Central Time.
