A woman was indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury yesterday (Monday, October 16, 2017) on child abuse and drug charges. According to the indictments, 35-year-old Devina Marie Farnsworth stands accused of abusing a four-year-old girl and detained or moved the child violating a court order regarding the child’s custody or care back in September 2015. Court officials say the charges against Farnsworth include child abuse, custodial interference, public intoxication, criminal impersonation and three counts of possession of drugs. Farnsworth will be arraigned on the indictments in Cumberland County Criminal Court next month.
