AUTOPSY REVEALS SODDY DAISY MAN WAS SHOT 15 TIMES BY DEPUTIES
An autopsy report says that a Soddy Daisy man was shot 15 times by police during an incident in January. 29-year-old Christopher Dalton Sexton had led officers on a chaseafter he had violated an order of protection. When deputies tried to approach him, he drove from the scene. A pursuit started in Hamilton County, proceeded into Sequatchie County and then ended back in Soddy Daisy with Sexton confronting deputies with a firearm. He was killed after pointing the gun at officers receiving wounds to the head, chest, back and legs. Officials have not identified those officers that fired or how many there were.
