Cumberland County’s Solid Waste Director has been indicted by the Grand Jury. Michael Howard Harvel turned himself in to authorities at 3:30 PM Monday. Charges against the 56-year-old Harvel include Official Misconduct, 2 counts of Assault and 1 count of Sexual Battery. He was placed under $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Criminal Court on March 19.
