A man wanted by Texas authorities for sex crimes against a child has been captured in Putnam County. Officers arrested Johnny Joe Ray for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child out of Anderson County, Texas. Ray has waived his rights to an extradition hearing and is being held in the Putnam County jail until Texas authorities come to Tennessee to take him back to face the charges.
