HAMILTON COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD TO KEEP CONTRACT WITH DURHAM SCHOOL BUS SERVICE
The Hamilton County School Board says they will stay with contracted bus company Durham School Services after one of the company’s drivers crashed a Chattanooga school bus killing six students and injuring several others. Officials say that it would take months to find another school bus service that could handle the county’s 20,000 students. Durham, who has been under contract with Hamilton County since 2013, recently announced that they would be updating several safety procedures across the board.
