LIQUOR STORES NOW CAN OPEN SUNDAYS, WINE TO BE SOLD SOON ON SUNDAY IN TENNESSEE
Liquor stores will now be open on Sunday and you’ll soon be able to buy wine in grocery stores on Sunday, as well. Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam signed House Bill 1540, known as the “Seven-Day Sales” bill, into law today. The new law, which is effective immediately, allows liquor stores to sell alcoholic beverages between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Sundays. Beginning January 1, 2019, grocery stores will also be permitted to sell wine between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Sundays.
